Sign on to TWU Gmail

Log in to TWU Gmail for the first time:
 

  • Your TWU Gmail account is created approximately 4 hours after your Pioneer Portal account is created.
    • If you have not done so, you can follow these instructions to create that account: https://servicecenter.twu.edu/TDClient/1956/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=15980
  • Start in any web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, Safari). The first login must be on a desktop or laptop computer.
  • Type gmail.twu.edu in the address bar of the browser.
  • At this point 1 of 4 things will happen.
  1. A sign on the screen will appear. Type the full TWU email (e.g. APerson@twu.edu) and TWU password. Sign on and accept the terms.
  2. A screen with an existing Gmail address and a small link that says “Add Account.” will appear. Click Add Account and log on as listed in step #1.
  3. Users will be redirected to a personal GMail inbox.
    1. Click the circle in the far upper-right corner. (This may be a photo or a person icon).
    2. Select Add Account and log on as listed in step #1.
  4. Users may see a screen with search results.
    1. Go to www.twu.edu.
    2. Click on the Webmail link at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the TWU Google Mail.
    4. Sign on using TWU email and password.

 

If asked, a @twu.edu is an Organizational Account.

Troubleshooting

  1. Test TWU email and password by logging into TWU Portal
  2. Forgot password? Reset itAfter a password change, wait about 10 minutes before signing on to Google.
  3. The first sign-on must be on a laptop or desktop computer. After this first sign-on, TWU Gmail can be accessed from any device with an internet connection.
  4. The TWU email address (APerson@twu.edu) is the sign-on. Do not add Gmail or Gapps or Gmail.com or any other variation.
