NetSupport School - Approved or Restricted Website Access

To Restrict All website access:

  1. On the left toolbar click the globe icon.
  2. In the bottom toolbar click Restrict All. This restriction applies to all students unless specific student(s) are selected first. 
Approved Websites- The student is only able to access the websites specified on this list.
Restricted Websites - The student is unable to access the websites specified on this list.

To Approve or Restrict specific website access:

  1. On the left toolbar click the globe (Internet) icon. 
  2. Click the plus sign in the Approved or Restricted sections.
  3. The Website Properties dialog box appears. Enter the URL address. 
  4. Click OK.

If Approved only is active, a green check mark appears by each student's icon.

If Block Restricted is active, a red x appears by each student's icon.

To apply Approved or Restricted Websites

Approved or restricted websites will apply to all students unless specific students are selected.In the bottom toolbar check Approved Only or Block Restricted.

To end Approved or Restricted Websites

Removing approved or restricted websites limits will apply to all students unless specific students are selected. In the bottom toolbar check Allow All

To remove specific Approved or Restricted Websites:

  1. Select the web address listed in Approved or Restricted section.
  2. In the upper right corner of the Approved or Restricted section, click x.
  3. The NetSupport Schoo dialog box appears. Click Yes.

To remove all internet restrictions

In the bottom toolbar check Unrestricted
