Instructors can determine if the student toolbar is visible to students. When the student toolbar is visible to students, students can initiate messages to, chat with, or request help from instructors. If the student toolbar is not visible to students, only instructors can initiate messages to or chat with student(s). 

Show/hide the Student Toolbar

  1. Click View
  2. Go to Student Toolbar
  3. Check or un-check Show

For example, student 1 has produced some work that the instructor would like to show to other student(s) in the class.

The Student Toolbar may be visible students. Features include available websites and applications (if instructor has limited), access to available websites and applications, as well as a chat and help features.
