NetSupport School - Remote Clipboard

Summary

During a View session, the instructor can copy the content of the clipboard between instructor and student PCs.

Body

​The Clipboard icon provides the following options:

  • Send Clipboard: Used when copying from the instructor station to a student station.
  • Retrieve Clipboard: Used when copying from the student station to the instructor station.
  • Auto: is enabled by default.  Auto allows the use of the short cut keys (Ctrl-C & Ctrl-V) to automatically copy to and from the clipboard at both the instructor and student station.

Sending the content of the clipboard from an Instructor to a student workstation

  1. Open the appropriate application on the instructor station. Select and copy the required data from the application.
  2. View the required student.
  3. Click Clipboard 
  4. Click Send Clipboard.
  5. Open the appropriate application on the student station and click Paste.
    Or
    Use the short cut keys (Ctrl-V) to paste the data.

  2. Open the appropriate application on the student station. Select and copy the required data from the application.

It can be set to be always visible at the top of the Student screen or to auto-hide.
The Student Toolbar may be visible students. Features include available websites and applications (if instructor has limited), access to available websites and applications, as well as a chat and help features.
Instructors have option to view and control student machine functions. The student’s screen will be displayed in a window on the instructor workstation.
Instructors can view, save, and print the web history for any or all connected students.
NetSupport School software is available in several computer classrooms. This software allows an instructor to monitor and control classroom computer activities.
