Chromebook VPN Connection

When using a Chromebook with TWU email address and password the VPN software (Cisco AnyConnect) is available automatically. Skip to the  “Connect to VPN Connection” section.

When using a Chromebook with a personal account first install Cisco AnyConnect from https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cisco-anyconnect/jacdijibdjifphcecdielmekkmfdpgee and follow the steps below to add the TWU VPN connection.

Add VPN Connection

1. Open Cisco AnyConnect Client (Icon typically on lower bar)
   

2. Click Add New Connection
   

3. Enter Name TWU VPN and  Server Address vpn.twu.edu.
   

4. Click Save Changes

Connect to VPN Connection-

1. Click on bottom right system tray (Time/Wifi Icon area).
   
2. Click on the VPN icon.
   
3. Click TWU VPN (user)
   
4. Enter Portal Username and Password
5. Click Submit
6. Click Accept on the message
7. The VPN connection should be active and there will be a small key icon next to the Wifi icon in the bottom-right system tray.
   

Disconnect VPN

1. Click on bottom right system tray (Time/Wifi Icon area).
2. Click on the VPN icon.
3. Click the Disconnect button.
