When a request for VPN access is approved, An email confirmation is sent with instructions to download the AnyConnect Client.
Install Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
Windows
- Open a web browser and navigate to vpn.twu.edu.
- Log in with TWU username and password.
- Check Duo-Mobile Authentication App to approve the pending request for access.
- Accept the terms by clicking Continue.
- On the left navigation panel, click Autoinstall AnyConnect.
- Click Start AnyConnect.
- Click the download button to begin the install process.
- Save the file.
- Open downloads.
- Click on “anyconnect-win-4.6.00362-core-vpn-predeploy-k9.msi”.
- Click Next on the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Setup Wizard.
- Read the terms and choose “I accept the terms in the License Agreement.”
- Click Next.
- Click Install.
- Click Finish.
MAC
- Open a web browser and navigate to vpn.twu.edu.
- Log in with TWU username and password.
- Check Duo-Mobile Authentication App to approve the pending request for access.
- Accept the terms by clicking Continue.
- On the left navigation panel, click Autoinstall AnyConnect.
- Click Start AnyConnect.
- Click the download button to begin the install process.
- Save the file.
- Open downloads.
- Click on “anyconnect-macos-4.6.00362-predeploy-k9-dmg”.
- Double click “anyconnect.pkg”.
- Click Continue.
- Click Continue again.
- Click Agree.
- Choose the hard drive you want to install on.
- Click Continue.
- Click Install.
- Enter TWU credentials.
- Click Install Software.
- Click Close.
Mobile
To connect to TWU VPN via a mobile device, download the Cisco AnyConnect app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
