To change or reset a Portal password, navigate to apps.twu.edu/resetpassword/reset1.aspx
To reset or change an Alumni password, navigate to Portal, and use the forgot/reset tool link. In addition, use your Alumni username (e.g., firstname.lastname).
Notes
- Pioneer Portal password must be changed every 365 days to a different password. This includes primary and Responsible Pioneer passwords. Each password must be unique — previous passwords cannot be used.
- Pioneer Portal passwords are case-sensitive.
- You will need to know your 9-digit TWU ID number (from your TWU ID card or in Portal). It is a nine-digit number beginning with “9”.
- Due to security reasons, IT Solutions can't assist with passwords over chat or email. Please call the Service Desk at 940-898-3971.
- You will need to know your security question and answer. View and update at portal.twu.edu/mysettings.asp

- When it is time to change an employee’s password, they will be notified three times within fourteen days. If the password is not changed within the fourteen-day time frame, the user’s account will reset. Students will have a thirty-day window to complete the change.
TWU administration will never send you an email regarding passwords that instructs you to ‘CLICK’ a link to manage your account. However, we may direct you to a URL that you must manually type in your browser.
Because some systems maintain their own passwords, it is possible to have different login credentials to access applications at TWU.
