Change a Portal Password

To reset a password because it has been forgotten or lost, navigate to the following website.

To change a password, navigate to Portal.

To reset or change an Alumni password, navigate to Portal, and use the forgot/reset tool link. In addition, use your Alumni username (e.g., firstname.lastname).

Further, you will need to know your TWU ID number. This is located on your TWU Student ID card. It is a nine-digit number beginning with “9”. Due to security reasons, we are not able to release this information over chat or email. You may call the Service Desk to retrieve this number.

Notes

Pioneer Portal password must be changed every 180 days to a different password. This includes primary and Responsible Pioneer passwords. Each password must be unique — previous passwords cannot be used.

When it is time to change a user’s password, they will be notified three times within seven days. If the password is not changed within the seventh-day frame time, the user’s account will reset.

Pioneer Portal passwords are case sensitive.

Because some systems maintain their own passwords, it is possible to have different login credentials to access applications at TWU.
