Regarding International Calls

  • All TWU campuses have calling restrictions on placing international calls.
  • Faculty/Staff needing to place an international call should contact Unified Communications through a Service Desk ticket.

Getting started

To reserve a International Call contact the Service Desk and provide the following information:

  • Date and time of the international call
  • Duration of the international call (estimated)
  • Campus location, department name, and TWU account number for associated charges

Unified Communications will send a confirmation to the requester containing the time, date, duration of call

Cost

As this is a third-party service, there are fees associated with its usage. The bill is provided to the Technology Service Desk by Centurylink Audio Conferencing and will reflect the total amount of minutes (all parties) per session and full amount charged for the total minutes. The current rate charged is three cents per minute per party. All charges incurred for each international session are billed to Unified Communications and in return Unified Communications  IDTs the requestor's department for the charges that apply to the international session.
