Browser Incognito and Private Modes

Chrome Browser

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner.
  3. Click New incognito window

Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the gear in the top right corner of the window.
  3. Hover the cursor over Safety
  4. Click InPrivate Browsing.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click the icon of 3 lines in the upper right corner.
  3. Click New Private Window.

Safari

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click File
  3. Click New Private Window.

How to use private browsing on iPhone and iPad

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Tap on the show pages button at the bottom right of the screen.
  3. Tap Private in the lower left hand corner.
  4. Tap done at the bottom right of the screen in the prompt that appears confirming Private Browsing Mode.

How to use private browsing on Android

  1. Open Chrome and select the overflow button (three vertical dots) on the top right of the screen.
  2. Select New incognito tab. A new browser tab with a spy-style icon to show incognito mode.
