PsychData, which is similar to software programs such as Survey Monkey, has additional features pertinent to academic research. This externally hosted online survey software allows individuals to self-author, distribute, and collect data on the web at any time. In addition, it allows for random assignment within and between surveys.
PsychData is a professionally developed and maintained web presence utilizing state-of-the art technology that combines parent-level, centralized database architecture with strict security policies and procedures. As a result, PsychData meets and exceeds industry standards for Internet security as well as recommended protocols for the protection of research participants.
Getting started
To establish an account, send your name, department, and TWU e-mail address to PsychData@twu.edu. An account will be created and sent to you via email within three business days. Faculty may request a personal research account, as well as a student use account. Graduate students must post surveys on their faculty member’s account.
