Summary

Instructors have the option to reboot or log out a student machine.

To reboot or log out a Student

  1. To reboot or log out one student machine, select that student machine. If no student machines are selected, the reboot or log out function will apply to all student machines.
  2. Click Student.
  3. Click Power Management.
  4. Click Reboot or Logout.
  5. A message will appear, confirming the student(s) included in the reboot/log out.
  6. Click Yes to continue.

To reboot or log out a student while viewing

  1. Click Client
  2. Click Reboot or Logout
  3. A message will appear, confirming the student included in the reboot/log out.
  4. Click Yes to continue rebooting or logging out student.

Instructors can launch a website on all connected student machines.
NetSupport School allows instructors to share a computer screen to a number of connected students. It is also possible to show an individual student's screen on selected or all students' screens. For example, student 1 has produced some work that the instructor would like to show to other student(s) in the class.
The Student Toolbar may be visible students. Features include available websites and applications (if instructor has limited), access to available websites and applications, as well as a chat and help features.

NetSupport School software is available in several computer classrooms. This software allows an instructor to monitor and control classroom computer activities.
