NetSupport School - Send a Message to Student(s)

Summary

With NetSupport School, messages can be sent to all connected students or the currently selected students. If the same message is sent on a regular basis, up to four pre-defined messages can be stored.

To send a message

Note: To send a message to a specific student, select that student prior to the steps listed.

  1. Click Student
  2. Click Message Message
  3. The Send Message dialog box will appear. Choose whether to send the message to All connected Clients (students) or only the Currently selected Clients (students). Enter the message and decide whether to show the message at the student(s) screen for a specified time.
  4. Click Send. The message will be displayed in a dialog at the student screens and will remain until the user closes the dialog or the specified time limit expires.

Send a Message while Viewing

  1. Click Send a Message on the toolbar.
  2. The Send Message to Client dialog box will appear.
  3. Enter the message and decide whether to show the message at the student screen for a specified time.
  4. Click Send. The message will be displayed in a dialog at the student screens and will remain until the user closes the dialog or the specified time limit expires.

Instructors can determine if a website is approved or restricted in NetSupport School.
NetSupport School is available in computer classrooms to enhance instructor / student interaction, as well as providing monitoring capabilities for the instructor.
When instructors use groups, they can utilize features for that group only. Features include interactive whiteboard, show, scan, view, exhibit, and audio.
