Total Compensation Statement - FAQs

How do I access the Total Compensation Statement report?

Employees can access their Total Compensation Statement in Oracle. Please refer to this guide for step-by-step instructions.

What effective date was used for the Total Compensation Statement?

We used the complete data from the prior calendar year to show annual numbers. The data used to compile the report is as of December 2025.

How often will the report be produced?

The Office of Human Resources will produce a new Total Compensation Statement annually for employees.

Is this statement the same as my pay slip?

No, this statement is not the same as your monthly pay slip. Your monthly pay slip is a record of actual payments, while this statement is a comprehensive review of all compensation, including employer contributions.

How does the Total Compensation Statement compare to my W-2?

The Total Compensation Statement provides you with information about the value of all your earnings and benefits. The earnings shown on your Total Compensation Statement will generally be higher than your W-2 taxable earnings because any pre-tax benefit contributions you made are subtracted from your gross earnings for W-2 reporting.

What is included in the Total Compensation Statement?

Your Total Compensation Statement captures several employer contributions, in addition to earnings and benefits. Each Total Compensation Statement is unique to the employee, and not all statements will have every type of contribution listed here. You can find additional information about benefits at the TWU Benefits webpage.
