Report an issue with a card, door or reader

Use this service to report a damaged ID card, a malfunctioning card reader, or a door that is not reading correctly. Before submitting, have the following information ready:

  • Full name and TWU ID
  • Description of the issue (e.g., door not locking or unlocking on schedule, loss of access to a previously accessible space)
  • Building and room number - required for any door or reader-related issues
  • LED status changes on the reader, if applicable (e.g., flashes purple, then blue, then red)

ID Services will review the request and follow up with next steps, which may include a card replacement or a technician visit depending on the nature of the issue.
