Remote Desktop into Mac from Mac (VNC)

Summary

To access a Mac desktop remotely connect via VNC.

Connecting from a laptop to a desktop requires physically being connected to the network or connected through VPN.

When VNC connects the screen that is currently showing on the machine will be displayed. If the machine is at the login screen login will be required.

When using VNC to connect to a machine the screen is turned on and visible to anyone.

​How to connect:

1. Right click Finder Icon
2. Choose Connect to Server
3. In the Server Address field type in "vnc://machinename.fs.dew.twu" and click Connect
4. Type in user name and password and to connect to the machine
