State Mandated Training

Recognition and Prevention of Sexual Harassment with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Overview training 
Required for all new TWU employees within 30 days of employment and supplemental training for all TWU Employees. (Every 2 years

Texas Woman’s University will immediately begin using the Texas Workforce Commission Recognition and Prevention of Sexual Harassment with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Overview training. This will take the place of the current training in Inspired eLearning.

  • You will have to sign in with the our acronym, state number, First name and last name with spaces in between: Example: TWU 756002618 Firstname Lastname 
  • The training  takes 30-40 minutes. There are 15 questions at the end and you have to answer 11 of the 15 correctly to get your certificate. 
  • After the training is complete, please send a copy of your certificate to mozuna@twu.edu

State Mandated Ethics Training 
Required for all new TWU employees and supplemental training for all TWU Employees (Yearly). Ethics is now in Bridge. You will receive an automated email from Bridge that will provide instructions on how to complete this training. If you do not receive it within 7 days of your hire, please contact Alex Yarbro, Interim Director of Compliance, (940) 898-3250, ayarbro@twu.edu.  Employees due for their annual training will receive an automated email from Bridge each year reminding them to complete the required training. 

Safety Training
Risk Management requires employees to complete various safety and compliance training based on your position at TWU. This training is now in Bridge, and you will receive weekly automated email reminders about these training requirements.

Computer Security Training 
Required for all new TWU employees and supplemental training for all TWU Employees (Yearly).

Bursar Cash Handling Training
Employees having cash handling responsibility are required to receive annual cash handling training.

COVID-19 has contributed to a rise in TWU employees working from home. This opens up the door to many communication problems, and many departments are feeling stressed about how to maintain healthy communication with employees during this time. This short presentation gives you ideas on how to maintain healthy communication. 

Staying Connected: A Guide for Supervisors and Employees 
This presentation is designed to provide some additional tools for your existing toolbox to strengthen the following: Teamwork, Productivity, Social connections, and Wellbeing. The Teamwork section of the presentation provides information on Microsoft Teams, a user-friendly application provided by the University, to enhance workgroup collaboration.
