Texas Woman’s University uses CollegeNet 25Live to manage and request space for campus events, meetings, and academic activities. The platform supports efficient scheduling and helps ensure resources and rooms are used effectively. This article provides step-by-step instructions for creating an event request in CollegeNet 25Live.
Create an Event Request
- Click the link: (will be provided)
- Sign in with your TWU username and password
NOTE: If you are unable to access the form or complete any steps, email: Universityscheduling@twu.edu
- On the dashboard, click Create an Event
- Enter the required (*) event details:
- Event Name: Use a clear and descriptive title
- Event Type: e.g. Guest Speaker Lecture, Workshop/Training, Orientation
- Primary Organization: Select the Organization / Department responsible for the event
- Expected Head Count: Enter your expected attendance
- Date and Time: Use the actual start and end times for events; add repeating dates, if applicable
- Locations: Use the search/filter tool, click Request to select your space. You can request multiple locations if needed
- Additional Event Information: If prompted, complete the following:
- Could the topic or speaker be controversial. Yes/No/Maybe
- Are there any VIPs in attendance? Yes/No
- Please list your VIPs. Click the icon to enter name(s) of VIPs
- Will food or beverages be served at the event? Yes/No
- Do you need parking for this event? Yes/No
- If yes, you must contact the parking office to arrange parking for your event
- Event Contact Roles:
- Requestor: The primary organizer of the event
- Scheduler: Individual entering the event into 25Live
- Terms and Conditions: Please review the terms and conditions and select I agree
- After Saving This Event, select one of the following:
- Go to Event Details
- Create Another Related Event
- Create A Related Copy of This Event
- Continue Editing Event
- Create Another Event
- Select one of the following:
- Cancel: Discard the request
- Preview: Check your event details
- Save: Submit your request
- A confirmation email will be sent once your event is submitted.
Cancelling an Event Request
Once your event request is submitted, follow these steps to request a cancellation:
- On the 25Live dashboard (link will be provided), click the name of the event you want to cancel.
- Click the Request Cancellation button
Note: The event requestor asking for cancellation cannot be both the event scheduler and owner.
- In the Event Cancellation Request dialog box, enter the reason for cancelling this event
- Click Request Cancellation to submit your request
- An Event Denied email will be sent once the cancellation is processed.

Reminders & Tips
- Use Preview to double-check your work before saving.
- Cancel deletes all entered information
- Use your event reference number to return later if needed
