How to Import Exchange Mail to Google

Summary

This process only works for email in the user's Exchange inbox (not for subfolders or archive folders).

Body

  1. To set up an import of TWU mail to Gmail, go to Settings in Gmail, then Accounts and Import, then Import mail and contacts.

  2. Type in the full email address.

  3. Enter the password and username, and the following server settings:
    POP server: pop.twu.edu
    Port: 995
    Use SSL: checked
  4. Click Continue and choose how to import.  It might be a good idea to leave a copy of the messages on the server for now.
  5. Click Start Import to start the import.
