FACULTY Recruitment Process Steps

 

  1. Hiring Manager contacts Provost's Office and Budget office to obtain correct position code for Requisition Creation Template.
  2. Hiring Manager completes Requisition Creation Template and submits it to HRRecruitment@twu.edu.
  3. HR Recruitment creates the requisition in Oracle Cloud using the provided information.
  4. Various approvers complete the approval workflow for the new requisition.
  5. HR Recruitment formats the requisition.
  6. HR Recruitment posts the position or opens it for sourcing (if unposted).  If unposted, the Hiring Manager provides the applicant with a link to the unposted position.
  7. Hiring Manager begins the process of reviewing applicants and conducting interviews, moving all applicants through proper phases and states.  Be sure to check applicants for veteran's preference and foster youth preference.
  8. Hiring Manager moves final candidate to Credentials Qualification Form / Credentials Pending.
  9. Office of VPFS reviews credentials portfolio, and moves final candidate to Credentials Qualification Form / Credentials Approved.
  10. Hiring Manager moves final candidate to Credentials Qualification Form / Recommended after attaching all required attachments to the final candidate in Oracle Cloud.
  11. HR Recruitment orders HireRight criminal background search for final candidate.
  12. Candidate responds to HireRight email providing the information necessary for the background search.
  13. HR Recruitment receives background results from HireRight.
  14. HR Recruitment emails the Hiring Manager to notify them that attachments are approved, background is satisfactory, and it's time for the Dean's Office to make a verbal offer.
  15. Dean's Office makes a verbal offer, and notifies HR Recruitment via email to notify whether the verbal offer was accepted.
  16. Hiring Manager emails the information needed for the offer letter to the Provost's office.  (Start date, Start up costs, moving expenses, courses, etc.)
  17. HR Recruitment moves the final candidate to Verbal Offer / Accepted.
  18. HR Recruitment moves the final candidate to Job Offer / To Be Created.
  19. Provost's Office creates the offer letter and submits it into approval workflow.
  20. Various approvers complete the approval workflow for the offer letter.
  21. HR Recruitment extends the offer letter to the candidate through Cloud.  The candidate receives the offer via email.
  22. Candidate accepts the offer letter.
  23. Candidate is moved to HR processing where onboarding will occur. 
  24. HR Recruitment asks the Hiring Manager to mark all unselected applicants as unselected.
  25. HR Recruitment marks the requisition as filled in Oracle Cloud.
