One-Time Merit Payment Eligibility on December 1, 2025

Staff:

All regular full-time and part-time staff who receive a performance rating of “Proficient,” “Highly Effective,” or “Exceptional” for the review period September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025, will receive a one-time merit payment of $1,250 (prorated for part-time staff). To be eligible, staff must have been employed in a regular full-time or part-time position prior to July 1, 2025.

Faculty:

All regular full-time and part-time faculty who receive a performance rating of “Effective” or “Exceptional” on their most recent Periodic Performance Review (PPR) will receive a one-time merit payment of $1,250 (prorated for part-time faculty). If the most recent review was a promotion and/or tenure review, a positive outcome will qualify the faculty member for the payment. Faculty must have been employed in a regular full-time or part-time position prior to July 1, 2025, to be eligible.

Notes:

  • Faculty and staff must be continuously employed in an eligible position on both the effective date (November 16, 2025) and the paycheck date (December 1, 2025) to receive the payment.
  • Visiting faculty and RTO faculty are not eligible.
  • Faculty and staff who received a written warning (or higher disciplinary action) within one year prior to November 16, 2025, or who are on a performance improvement plan, are not eligible.
