The Office of Civility and Community Standards provides service to the TWU community through facilitating the Student Code of Conduct process. In addition, the office supports the overall mission of the University through educational programming and training opportunities to increase understanding of campus civility and civic engagement.
Services our office provides include:
- Student Conduct Process, including issues related to Academic Dishonesty
- Assistance with issues related to students in distress or potential unfair treatment
- Civility and Community Standards Resources:
- Civic Engagement Initiatives, such as Speak Up! and Pioneering Politics
- Social Change Peer Educators and Student Peer Counsel
- Student Mediation
- On Campus Free Speech
- Campus Events related to initiatives such as student activism and social justice
- Campus Safety training such as bystander intervention and alcohol/drug use
