Processing Quotes

  • The request will be evaluated in accordance with the Technology Governance policy
  • Software will undergo a risk assessment and an ADA-compliance check (VPAT), as required by the State of Texas. Once there is a VPAT or a VPAT exception form on file, a request for a quote will be sent to our vendor(s). 
  • After receiving the quote, follow the Purchasing Guidelines established by the TWU Purchasing department.
  • The item(s) will be shipped to TWU’s Resource Planning and Assets Department and will be tagged (where applicable) and placed into the University’s and the State of Texas' inventory systems.
  • When the item(s) arrives, please submit a ticket through the Technology Service Desk to request set-up, configuration, and/or installation of software.
