No Computer Audio through Speakers

If the volume level on the computer and the A/V control system is turned up, but the computer audio does not play through the system speakers, the default audio device may need to be changed in Windows:
  1. Click Start.
  2. Type in mmsys.cpl
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Click the  Playback tab.
  5. Right-click in the box and check Show Disabled Devices.
  6. Right-click on each listed device and select Test to play a test sound through that device (if the device is disabled, select Enable, then Test).
  7. If the test sound played through the system speakers when testing one device, right-click on that device and select Set as Default Device.
  8. If none of the listed audio devices played the test sound through the system speakers, restart the computer and check if any new audio devices have been added to the list.
