Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, a total enterprise solution by bundling many Oracle Application product lines. It provides organizations of all sizes, across all industries and regions with a global business foundation that reduces costs and increases productivity through a portfolio of rapid value solutions, integrated business processes and industry-focused solutions.
The following EBS applications are available at TWU:
- Oracle Financials include General Ledger, Cash Management, Payables, Receivables, Asset Lifecycle Management, Purchasing, etc.
- Oracle Human Resource Management System (HRMS) includes Recruiting, Time and Labor Management, Benefits, compensation, payroll, etc.
- Other: TWU Budget, Business Intelligence and Reporting.
The range of custom application development projects includes:
- Implementation of new products
- Integration of systems
- Ground-up software design and development
- Application adjustment, such as configuration changes and code writing
Custom application development process may include:
- Comprehensive and detailed analysis of the business requirements
- Preparation of design specifications
- Initial design concept
- Programming
- Testing/validation
- Client support (training and support materials)
- Ongoing development and management of systems, including operational support, upgrades, and enhancements
Getting started
Any TWU employee may request either TWU iProcurement and/or TWU Financials Inquiry Responsibilities. Follow these steps:
- Log on to Pioneer Portal.
- Click My Tools.
- Under Faculty/Staff Tools and select Request Oracle eBusiness TWU Financial System Inquiry and TWU iProcurement.
For additional financials responsibilities, contact the Controller's Office or Procurement.
For additional human resources responsibilities, contact the Office of Human Resources.
