Hosting provides server infrastructure and support required to host a requested application. Hosting can include applications for the Web, databases and/or application server layers.
- Installation of hardware into the TWU server environment
- Installation of OS and application software (as per license agreement)
- Adding, modifying or removing system user accounts
- Monitoring of file-system and disk usage
- Monitoring system availability
- Providing system backup and recovery
- System and application patching support
- Monitoring for suspicious system activity
Getting started
Server hosting should be a part of a larger project that has been approved through the Technology Governance process, including risk assessment, quotes, etc.
