Charter Communications basic cable TV service is provided in all residence hall rooms, TWU’s Fitness Center, as well select buildings on the TWU Denton campus. Charter’s TV broadcast is a digital signal which is converted back into analog signal so the TWU community does not require a digital receiver box at each TV set to receive Charter’s broadcast and channel lineup.
Getting started
To see if Charter Service is available in a specific area, contact the Service Desk to have a Unified Communications engineer site survey the area. If service is unavailable in the area, please contact Charter Communications to provide a cost to the requester for new cabling infrastructure to be installed. Charter’s TV Service is a billable service.
