To Register
- Log into WebAdvisor, and select your preferred section.
- If the section you want is closed (full), you can:
- Check for availability in another section.
- Get on the waitlist for your preferred section. Keep in mind that you are not guaranteed to get a seat from the waitlist, so it is better to choose an available seat in a different section.
- If all sections are closed (full):
- Get on the waitlist for your preferred section so that the Division of Biology is aware that there are additional students who need to register for the lab.
- Then, check WebAdvisor regularly throughout this registration period for possible future openings.
Helpful Hints
- Register early so you can get a seat in your preferred section.
- Meet payment deadlines so you are not dropped from your classes.
- Check WebAdvisor often for possible openings.
- Lab section caps are governed by State of Texas safety laws. The Division of Biology is not allowed to enroll students in a lab section above the listed section cap for any reason. If a section is full, your best bet is to enroll in a different section that has available space.
If You Are Repeating the Course and You have Passed the Lab
If you are repeating a biology lecture course and you have passed the lab, you must get departmental permission from the Division of Biology to register for only the lecture. Fill out a Drop/Add form and have your academic advisor email it to biology@twu.edu. The Division of Biology will send the signed form to the Office of the Registrar for processing.
If You Are Unable to Enroll in a Lab Section
- Get on the waitlist for your preferred section.
- Choose a different section that still has available space.
- Try again next semester – watch for upcoming registration dates.
