Edit a Saved Search in 25Live

This article explains how to edit a saved search in 25Live, allowing you to modify search criteria, update an existing search, or create a new version. It provides step-by-step instructions for accessing, running, and adjusting saved searches using both Quick Search and Advanced modes.

Edit a saved search in 25Live to modify its criteria, create a new version, or update an existing search.

1. Navigate to the Search section by selecting Go to Search in the top navigation bar, or use the Search link in the More menu.
2. Select the area you want to search in (e.g., Events, Locations, Resources, Organizations).
3. Open the adjacent drop-down menu to view:
   • Pre-Defined Groups of searches
   • Your Starred Searches
   • All of Your Searches
4. Choose the saved search you want to edit and click Search to run it.
5. Switch the Search Type toggle:
   • Quick Search to view the SeriesQL (internal 25Live search language) syntax.
   • Advanced to view the building blocks of your search.

1. Make any necessary changes to the search criteria.
2. Click Save to update the existing search, or Save As to create a new copy with your edits.
