Background

File-Based Data Import (FBDI) is an Excel Add-In that does file-based load process to load the data files into Oracle SaaS. 

FBDI can be used to import large volumes of data from third-party or other Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, or create new data in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials. For example, you can import journal entry batches from legacy and third-party applications into the GL_INTERFACE table using the JournalImportTemplate.xlsm template.
