Student Name Changes at Texas Woman's

Name Change: Canvas, Pioneer Portal, Email Address

Submit a ticket to the IT Service Desk
Email servicedesk@twu.edu with your:

• Student ID number
• Deadname
• New name
• Specify what you need changed:
  • Canvas
  • Portal
  • Email address

Keep the service ticket number; if needed, send follow-up emails with service ticket number

Name Change: Zoom

In a meeting:

1. Select "Participants"
2. Hover over name
3. Select "Rename"

Not in a meeting:

Sign into Zoom (app or site)
Select "Profile"
Select "Edit"

Pronoun Change in Canvas

1. Select "Account"
2. Select "Settings"
3. Select "Edit Settings"
4. Select pronouns from menu

Pronoun Change: Zoom

1. Sign into Zoom
2. Select "Profile"
3. Select "Edit"
4. Add your pronouns
5. Choose from "How would you like to share your pronouns?"

Name Change: GMail

1. Select the settings gear icon in the upper right of your Chrome browser
2. Select "See all settings"
3. Select "Accounts and Imports"
4. Under "Send Mail As"
5. Select "Edit Info"
6. Type in name.

Name Change: Graduation

1. Fill out "Application for Graduation"
2. Type in the name you want to use on your diploma
